For the past few years my friends and I have held a fundraiser for the Edmonton Food Bank. The winter holidays can be wonderful and magical, but they can also be difficult and stressful so we’re doing what we can to light a candle, of sorts. To offer some light in the darkness.
That’s the theme for this year’s fundraiser — Light in the Darkness.
These past few years in particular have felt like one big, scary thing after another but through this fundraiser we can try to push back against that a bit, shine a light and offer some help.
The fundraiser will be supported by a blog tour from November 30th – December 8th and I’m looking for people to join in by signing up to be a part of the blog tour.
To participate in the blog tour you need to have a blog* and a willingness to write a blog post for the tour.
Each post will be required to share a link to the fundraiser for the Edmonton food bank (which is run through Canada Helps) and will be encouraged (but not required) to include one of the ‘Giftmas’ graphics.

*however you define ‘blog’. Some people have used self-hosted elaborate blogs, some have used Goodreads and occasionally we’ve even had people use public Facebook posts. If you want to participate and don’t have any of those things I would be happy to host you on my blog.
