For the past several years my friends and I have been working together to raise money to help benefit the Edmonton Food Bank — feeding hungry families and helping to shoulder heavy loads during the winter holiday season.
Many of us have personal connections to the food bank and all of us have an interest in helping people make sure they can put food on the table, especially during the holiday season. The winter holidays can be wonderful and magical, but they can also be difficult and stressful so we’re doing what we can to help.
It seems like every year I say that demand for the Food Bank’s services have never been higher, but that is absolutely true again this year. But through this fundraiser we can try to push back against that a bit, shine a light and offer some help.
The fundraiser will be supported by a blog tour from December 4th – December 11th and I’m looking for people to join in by signing up to be a part of the blog tour.
To participate in the blog tour you need to have a blog* and a willingness to write a blog post for the tour.
Each post will be required to share a link to the fundraiser for the Edmonton food bank (which is run through Canada Helps) and will be encouraged (but not required) to include one of the ‘Giftmas’ graphics.
To sign up to participate in the blog tour, simply follow the link to the form below and fill it out.
Sign-ups will close November 23th so sign up before then so you don’t miss out.

*however you define ‘blog’. Some people have used self-hosted elaborate blogs, some have used Goodreads and occasionally we’ve even had people use public Facebook posts. If you want to participate and don’t have any of those things I would be happy to host you here.
