Each year I organise a fundraiser to benefit my local food bank and I’d love it if you could join in.
The fundraiser will take the form of a blog tour from December 14th through 18th.
To participate in the blog tour you need to have a blog* and a willingness to write a blog post for the tour.
This year’s theme is ‘Connections’. So blog about a special connection you have, or how you’re staying connected through these tough times, or losing connection. Talk about family connections, or friends, or zippers, or LEGO. Whatever works for you.
Each post will be required to share a link to the fundraiser for the Edmonton food bank and will be encouraged (but not required) to include one of the ‘Giftmas’ graphics.
Before we knew what kind of year 2020 was going to be I’d considered skipping the fundraiser for a year, but if ever there has been a year when I’ve felt it was important to reach out and help as much as I could, it is this year. Still, I’m low on spoons — as I know a lot of you are — so this year’s fundraiser is going to be pretty uncomplicated. I’m not even doing a Rafflecopter or a prize pool. If individual bloggers would like to give away prizes that’s fabulous, and I’ll definitely be doing a giveaway of some sort — but I’m keeping the bulk of the blog tour as clean and simple as possible.
To sign up to participate in the blog tour, simply follow the link to the form below and fill it out.
If you have a day you’d prefer to blog on, include that on the form. If you don’t just put ‘N/A’ and I’ll ask you to cover whatever day has the fewest participants.
Sign-ups will close November 30th so sign up to blog before then so you don’t miss out.

*however you define ‘blog’. Some people have used self-hosted elaborate blogs, some have used Goodreads and occasionally we’ve even had people use public Facebook posts. If you want to participate and don’t have any of those things I would be happy to host you here, on my blog.
Fun, worthy project for a great cause. I’m in!
Yay!
Don’t forget to fill in the form (it’s linked in the post) so I have all your information in one place 🙂
