That’s it for another Giftmas fundraiser!
This year we changed a lot of things up — the name, the month, the charity, the format — and through all that we still raised $1,360 for Doctors Without Borders!
That’s phenomenal!
I have so many people to thank, and to start with I want to thank all our creators this year. I took some time to introduce some of them to you over the past few weeks, but if you missed that, the official creators were:
- Rhonda Parrish
- BD Wilson
- Stephanie A. Cain
- Laura VanArendonk Baugh
- Jamie Perrault
- Iseult Murphy
- Cassandra Weir
You should be able to click on their names to learn more about their goals and how well they did at reaching them 🙂
Second, I would like to thank everyone who donated to the fundraiser. Every donation, big and small, matters and makes a big difference — not just to the measurable success of our fundraiser, but also to the organisation that benefits from them. Thank you so much!
I know the fundraiser ended earlier than some people thought it would, which meant your last minute donations didn’t count toward our fundraising total. I’m sorry about that. I should have emphasized when the deadline was more and let people know it was at the beginning of the 10th, not the end of it. That is on me.
But the good news is that you can still donate to Doctors Without Borders / MSF and they will still benefit from your generosity and that is really the most important part.
And finally, I want to thank everyone who signal boosted the fundraiser, or read any of these blog posts. That support means the world not just to the efficacy of the fundraiser, but also to me personally.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
There were things I had hoped to do with this fundraiser that I didn’t manage to pull together because reasons, but I look forward to trying to do them next year.
So, I’ll see you back here then?
In the meantime, once again — thank you!
Our fundraiser is over, but you can still donate to benefit Doctors Without Borders / Medecins Sans Frontieres:

What MSF does (from their website):

We provide assistance based on need, regardless of ethnicity, gender, religion or political affiliation. We also speak out about the suffering we witness while carrying out our work.
