This year I’m participating in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge again. I thought it might be fun to share some of my photography instead of always my words. They say a picture is worth–well, you know what they say 😉
I will try to keep these blog posts short and sweet, while still offering a little bit of insight into each photograph, just for fun.

D is for Danica. Because of course it is 🙂
Dani modeled for me out in the snow one warm wintery afternoon. This shot was both of our favourites from the day:
The conversation preceding this photograph went like this:
Me: Dani, I like the light in your room right now, how about you roll over so I can take your picture.
Dani: *rolls over*
Me: *takes picture* Thank you
Dani: You’re welcome. I’m going to go back to half-sleeping now.
Finally, I snapped this one in a parking lot when we were on vacation in Nova Scotia in 2012. It turned out to be one of my favourite shots from the whole trip:
(I let Dani choose which pictures I was going to share here, so she wouldn’t be too embarrassed 😉 )
Nice pictures! You’re a good photographer. There’s certainly nothing for Dani to be embarrassed about. 🙂
Thank you 🙂
I love the middle one. She looks absolutely gorgeous. I envy her colouring, and all those freckles! Awesome photos.
The middle one is my favourite too 🙂 Thank you Holli!
I agree with the other comments the model is lovely and the photographs are wonderful!

Thank you Jen 🙂 I’m totally biased in favour of the model too 😉
I’m with Holli – that middle picture is gorgeous! The lighting is just beautiful.
Thank you Liz 🙂 I am very fond of that photograph, and pleased Danica humored me enough to let me take it LOL
Lovely. The light on her red hair is captivating.
Thank you Leslie 🙂
Her hair is bright pink these days, I really ought to talk her into modeling again 😉
