This year I’m participating in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge again. I thought it might be fun to share some of my photography instead of always my words. They say a picture is worth–well, you know what they say 😉
I will try to keep these blog posts short and sweet, while still offering a little bit of insight into each photograph, just for fun.

G is for Glowsticks
I used glowsticks and long exposures to make the pictures below. It was a trial and error process that created a lot of failed photographs but it was a lot of fun where Jo and I got to play in the dark with glowsticks 🙂
Oh that looks cool!
Thank you 🙂
That’s so fun!! I love the one with the castle – it looks like it belongs in a very cool, sort of creepy movie 🙂
Thank you 🙂
That castle is pretty cool even not all lit up, my husband constructed it out of individual plaster blocks he poured using molds. Much fun!
I love glow sticks! And these pictures are so cool.
Thank you, they were a lot of fun to make 🙂
What a cool idea! I never would have thought of that. I love the blue tones behind the flowers, beautiful!
Thank you!
I’d been watching a lot of tutorials and such about painting with light, and while some of the most dramatic results come from using fire, I thought glowsticks might be a nice, slow, way to ease into it LOL
What a great idea! I love glow sticks and so do my grandkids : )
LoL There always seems to be glowsticks around our home, not necessarily always glowing but… we’re fans 😉
That is so awesome, Rhonda! What a great idea.
Thanks! It was a lot of fun. Really ought to do it again sometime soon.
How inventive and the pictures are super cool. I once played in a golf tournament at night with “glow balls” and glow sticks on the pins and in the holes. Eerie.
That sounds like a lot of fun. I’d want to be there with my camera and tripod though, not a golf club LOL
I love the picture with the daisies, very pretty.
Thank you, that’s my favourite of the too as well 🙂
