G is for Glowsticks

GThis year I’m participating in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge again. I thought it might be fun to share some of my photography instead of always my words. They say a picture is worth–well, you know what they say 😉

I will try to keep these blog posts short and sweet, while still offering a little bit of insight into each photograph, just for fun.

G is for Glowsticks

I used glowsticks and long exposures to make the pictures below. It was a trial and error process that created a lot of failed photographs but it was a lot of fun where Jo and I got to play in the dark with glowsticks 🙂

    1. Thank you 🙂

That castle is pretty cool even not all lit up, my husband constructed it out of individual plaster blocks he poured using molds. Much fun!

    1. Thank you!

I’d been watching a lot of tutorials and such about painting with light, and while some of the most dramatic results come from using fire, I thought glowsticks might be a nice, slow, way to ease into it LOL

    1. LoL There always seems to be glowsticks around our home, not necessarily always glowing but… we’re fans 😉

  1. How inventive and the pictures are super cool. I once played in a golf tournament at night with “glow balls” and glow sticks on the pins and in the holes. Eerie.
