Sale: Waste Not

The contract has been received and agreed to, so I feel secure in announcing that my story “Waste Not” has been sold to Stupefying Stories and will appear in one of their future issues. Yay!

Personally, I’ve got my fingers crossed that I might manage to share a table of contents with Beth Cato, but we’ll have to wait and see, I guess 🙂

  1. Congratulations on meeting your W1S1 goal. This year I finally figured out that there are a lot of markets out there and I have a lot of old stories that should be out trying to earn a living.

    1. Thank you very much 🙂

Sometimes I struggle with that exact thing you’re talking about and find myself going through the ‘Retired’ folder on my computer looking for gems I gave up on too quickly 🙂

  2. Congrats, Rhonda, on the sale! I’m hoping one of my stories finds a home at STUPEFYING soon. I came really close with one but — as is sometimes said — alas.

Congratulations, also, on meeting your W1S1 goals for March!

  3. Yay, congratulations!

I guess I should send more stories to Stupefying Stories then. Mine will be in the very next issue to come out, which is likely in the next week. We really do need to share a table of contents beyond Niteblade.

  4. Congrats!

I’m still working on finding a home for a few of my stories. For me, stories are much harder to place than poems or art. So, good for you for finding a good home for one of your stories!

    1. Thanks Richard 🙂

I have a more difficult time placing fiction than poetry too, so you’re not alone there by any means.

    1. Thank you 🙂 And I totally agree, if it weren’t for W1S1 I’m sure I wouldn’t have had a very productive year so far at all. At least not in regard to creating new material LOL
