This year I’m participating in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge again. I thought it might be fun to share some of my photography instead of always my words. They say a picture is worth–well, you know what they say 😉
I will try to keep these blog posts short and sweet, while still offering a little bit of insight into each photograph, just for fun.

W is for Water.
Let’s start with this shot of the river valley here in Edmonton 🙂
Also, did you know that I totally adore ducks? I do. And ducks love water so…
I took this shot at the Muttart Conservatory here in Edmonton. It could have used a tripod and a neutral density filter, but it was my first attempt at long(ish) exposures so I like it anyway 😉
Finally, how can you not love dew drops on a flower? Though… if I remember correctly these might be rain drops. Either way. Drops. How can you not love water droplets on a flower? 🙂
Oh my gosh, the waterfall pic is magical. I want a massive print of it above my fireplace.
Thank you Leslie! That really does mean a lot to me 🙂
Those water drops on the petal are exquisite! All great Water themed pictures!
betty
Thank you!
Beautiful pictures. The one with the streaming water looks surreal. I love it. I like th splash of purple on the duck.
Thank you! I, too, love the purple on the duck. I wish that shot could have been a wee bit better let, but no such luck LoL
There are two things I could watch forever: Water and fire. We’ve got a lake (pond) in our back yard, and it’s so nice to just go out and enjoy the calm. =)
True Heroes from A to Z
I’m envious of your pond… I think. Ideally I’d like running water (a stream, river or ocean) just outside my door–less mosquitoes that way LOL But I still think a pond might beat nothing, which is what we have for a water feature.
Water on a flower–that is definitely one of the best photo opps! In fact, water makes for some of the best photos you’ll see out there. That’s why I bought this house–just looking out my window at the pond some days makes me feel so centered!

Another person with a pond! Yeup, that does it — I’m getting envious LoL
Magnificent country and magnificent photography!
Thanks, dude!
You have a great talent for photography. These pictures are amazing.
Thank you very much, Annikka 🙂
Beautiful photos 🙂 – visiting from the April A-Z Challenge
Thank you Linda, I’m glad you dropped by 🙂
Love the design and layout of your site :0)
I have such a blast reading through other bloggers’ work, and yours in no exception, plus you’re a role player (as am I – well, DM, actually), so it’s doubly good.
Might I suggest you browse through some of my early posts at the beginning of my blog, as my blog did start out aimed at rpg and anecdotal writings. I’d be very interested as to your thoughts on my musings and to hear if they are similar to your own?
Keep up the good work – thanks again :0)
Thanks Mark 🙂
It’s cool that you’re a DM. I usually prefer to be a player than a DM, but most of my fellow players did as well so I was often wearing the DM hat, like it or not LOL
I will be sure and check out your blog in more depth 🙂
The conservatory and duck pictures are remarkable. The colors are just so vibrant!
Thank you! I have a huge soft spot for ducks LoL
Absolutely love water droplets on flowers/grass/leaves, etc! That shot at the conservatory is just wow! 🙂
Thank you 🙂
I love the water. I swear, if I didn’t have to write, I could spend my life submerged.
The picture at the Conservatory looks like a painting. I don’t know how you do it.
I love water too. It has long been my escape, even as far back as childhood.
Awe I love the ducky! The blue on his wing stands out a lot, i like it. I agree with the above comment, the waterfall is stunning, I would totally hang that up in my house.
